After 20 years behind the chair in my own salon, I decided to expand my business by opening a nail salon in my small town. After the 1st year I was already in trouble, as the numbers just were not meeting projections. I attended a tradeshow in Seattle to expand my own education and came across the Alexandria Professional™ Body Sugaring™ booth. I allowed them to sugar my upper lip and was instantly sold even after they told me I would have to attend a 2-day training class. They even sold me on the idea of training my whole salon staff in both the nail and hair salons. Fast forward 3 years later, my hair salon has expanded to include lip and brow sugaring for my hair clients and the nail salon was literally saved and the sugaring is still what brings in the money to make the business a success. Taking those extra classes really did pay off and out, it saved my business.
